Kaiden Kares Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in October 2015. Jack and Christine Gardner, along with Mike and Katie Horton, shared a vision to help children battling congenital heart disease and support the families who stay by their side.
WE WANT TO LESSEN THE BURDEN.
We have created Kare Bags filled with essential items for both the caregiver and the child, which are distributed to families staying in the hospital. In the future, we plan to explore additional ways to support families facing such difficult times. We’re committed to helping and open to new ideas.
STARK COUNTY SUPERDRAFT
What started in 2011 as a local softball tournament quickly became something much more. With growing support, the Superdraft has raised thousands for organizations like Make-A-Wish and Mended Little Hearts. Inspired by Jack Gardner’s son Kaiden and his battle with congenital heart disease, the event now draws players from across the region — all united to raise awareness and bring hope to children and families who need it most.
